Our background idea is linked with CETIA about how to use robotics for sorting/recycling of Textiles and shoes.

Thanks to AI, we seek to operate robots in non-repetitive handling tasks applied to the sorting/recycling of flexible/soft elements (use case 1; Textiles and shoes) 

CETIA use case: Handling shoes / Handling clothes

- ESTIA -Recherche will collaborate in the development of solutions robotics, automation, or AI and Smart Manufacturing technologies for existing regional operations. –

• The validation of the algos developed by the production of demonstrators, which could be simple geometries produced without/with AI to highlight the contribution: improved process stability, improved quality of the manufactured part, etc. –

From Roboticadour, the main contribution could be to provide "robot" data (position, speed, configuration, etc.) to complement the process data by the use case in order to feed a "trajectory" oriented AI. Moreover, we will be able to implement trajectory modification strategies resulting from this AI with a view to improving the process.

Thanks to its experience in robotized process development ESTIA has a clear overview and understanding of the issues and challenges encountered in the field of data enhanced process supervision and regulation. Moreover, its close collaboration with industrial partners helps ESTIA defining a roadmap which remains in line with concrete needs.
