Main objective is the development of a platform for vehicle frame and shell production based on a distributed sensor network spanning all process steps during the entire product life cycle of the vehicle. The targeted platform will combine innovative technologies for autonomously sensing, collecting, exchanging and applying information available during manufacturing and operation of the component.
