Recycle

Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects. The recovery of energy from waste materials is often included in this concept. The recyclability of a material depends on its ability to reacquire the properties it had in its original state. (From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recycling)

Closed-loop recycling is the process by which a product or material can be used and then turned into a new product (or converted back to raw material) indefinitely without losing its properties during the recycling process. (From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Closed-loop_recycling)

Open-loop recycling is the process by which a product is recycled but has to be mixed with raw materials to become a new product, typically leading to downcycling. (From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Closed-loop_recycling)
