University Stefan cel Mare Suceava – USV is a research and higher education public institution in the North-East Region (NUT II) of Romania, providing various educational programs to more than 13000 students. The doctoral programs cover 14 scientific domains; there are more than 500 full-time and part-time doctoral students coordinated by 45 professors. The 12 USV Research Centers are oriented towards applied research covering Cloud computing, multimedia APIs, gesture-based interfaces, wireless communication, holonic systems, grid computing, intelligent systems, efficiency energy, renewable energy sources, environment protection, and climate change.
