Thus, the cluster brings together companies, research centers and educational institutions in order to develop synergies and cooperative efforts. AXELERA is located in Lyon in Region Rhône-Alpes. Rhône-Alpes is the second most important region in France from an economic point of view and the 7th in Europe. It is also the first chemical production centre in France.
