ADItech Technology Corporation is a private foundation connecting science, technology and industry stakeholders in the Navarra region (Spain), aiming at adding value to the society developing new products and services that incorporate the latest knowledge, technologies and innovations, therefore generating jobs and economic development in the region.
Two of the Technological Centers from the Regional Innovation System in Navarra are being representing by ADItech in Spire Partnership: NAITEC and AIN.
ADItech Technology Corporation is currently involved in several European projects and initiatives following different schemes and covering different roles as the coordinator institution of the Navarra Regional Innovation Ecosystem:
1. ADItech is able to maximise the impact of a project or initiative at a Regional level, by influencing and attracting other key institutions and stakeholders (technological and non-technological):
- Management of call for proposals for Third Parties. Dissemination activities focused on boosting participation of SMEs, and other entities along the value chain.
- Design and organisation of Prizes in technological fields to find innovative, realistic, focused on market and collaborative ideas and projects.
2. In-house developed and successfully proven methodologies for:
- Good Practices identification and evaluation set out in 4 phases and an objective decision making process focused on attributes and matrix-based approach.
- Identification and managing innovation and industry-driven projects focused on TRLs bridging the valley of death (Tractor Projects).
- Technology Transfer Plan. Identification of exploitable results, complementary analysis of IPR protection strategies and exploitation opportunities. Internal and External approach from the consortium’s point of view.
3. Capacity for community building development and coordination of international networks
4. Expertise in Innovation Policies, Regional Strategies, social innovation strategies.
About NAITEC
NAITEC (http://www.naitec.es/) is a technological center and its main goal is to contribute in the development of the automotive and mechatronics sector. To achieve this, NAITEC has the vocation of being an international reference in the R&D of technologies capable of achieving these developments.
NAITEC was born as an initiative of the Navarra’s Government, with the support of CEMITEC, the previous technology center (with more than 25 years of experience), and of the Public University of Navarra, UPNA, who agreed to create this new technological center whose objective is to promote the development of technologies capable of developing the automotive and mechatronics sector. Both are priority lines of the Strategic Plan of the Government of Navarra.
About AIN
AIN-ADItech (http://www.ain.es/tech) is a Private Technological Center, owned by 110 industrial and services companies from Navarre, North of Spain. Among these companies, Automotive, Agro food, Paper, Chemical, Metal Mechanics and ICT sectors are represented. These companies stand for 72% of the Navarresse Industrial GDP of our Region. The company has participated as a partner or leader in more than 40 funded European projects in different areas. AIN employs 68 people and its turnover in 2015 was of € 4,7M. AIN is divided in two business units: AIN_consulting and AIN_tech. The expertise of this last unit is devoted to 1) advanced engineering solutions for industrial construction, efficient use of energy and environmental protection, 2) Unconventional systems for sensing, control and communications with activities in advanced predictive maintenance techniques and advanced data processing techniques including image processing, data fusion or data mining (MCC unit) and 3) Nanotechnologies to improve the surface characteristics of the materials.
