Comment: ICP4Life will permit and demonstrate the design of products (machines, molds...) adapted to the manufacturing user requirements using the CUSTOMIZER and DESIGNER. This involves also the suppliers of machine components. For example: INERTIA is a sensor provider participating in the Project. The integration of sensors in complex products (machines) in a seamless way is the approach of the DESIGNER component of the platform. This way; ICP4LIFE permits an easy and friendly integration of field devices (sensors) in the production line equipment (machines) in order to acquire data and provide new servicesResults:

#Service, #Connectivity: Designer component will act as a connector among different domain engineers, including PSS top managers, to facilitate their communication, data management, decision making, etc. Furthermore, it will perform a link to different specific legacy CAX tools to circulate the information flow and data sharing or management. Finally, since the different development stages of a PSS solution/offer will have inevitable interrelationships, there are interactions between the Designer component and the others on the ICP4Life platform.

The interaction amongst both companies is a key aspect of the project. Services permit the optimization of the productivity (both the manufacturing system supplier as well , the user of the manufacturing system) resilieance, and maintenance services offered by the manufacturing system supplier (Enterprise).Results:
