The LD solution can inprove the workflow, data sharing and analysis in the mannufacturing areas significantly, as shown during the evaluation of the LD demonstrator "Metrology-driven Manufacturing in the Automobile Industry". The data harvesting and analysis methods developed within the project become more and more importand due to increasing complexety of the manufactured products and the involved processes.
