Summary
The degree of re-usability of components of the selected machine will be assessed through statistical analysis (life data analysis) of actual (collected) data coming from the field. The proposed strategy takes into account the statistical as well as dynamic nature of the life cycle data. A comprehensive statistical analysis of time-to failure data will be based on R&M models (from Platform A), to assess the mean functional life of components and machines under real operating environment.
