As not every plant is able to assemble every product type, this information is particularly a pre requisite for the order allocation in a global production network. Thus, the “Global Order Assignment” tool will assign orders to a production plant and a production month. The system allocates orders to plants and lines based on given restrictions, customer wishes, capabilities, and cost parameters
