The Design Option Paper will explore a methodology that will guide the innovation agencies to assess SMEs IP and data management needs and propose valuable solutions casebased It will consist of a set of practical guidelines manuals and templates designed to be easily used and taken up by companies This will allow supported SMEs technology providers and researchers to overcome the fear and barriers related to IP and knowledge sharing issues and to capture the value of a Digital IP portfolio thus contributing to unlocking the full potential of digitalization The use of the designed methodology will impact the capacity of innovation agencies to manage innovation and technology transfer processes including knowledge sharing joint collaboration and open innovation
