Summary
This work assesses the readiness of the 3 COMPOSITION industrial use case sites (Boston Scientific Limited, KLEEMANN & ELDIA) for potential integration of wired and wireless sensors to support the higher priority use cases identified. The assessments were done under the existing infrastructure & sensors/data availability, requirements for additional sensors for the use cases and infrastructure to retrofit these sensors as well as initial studies to select the sensors required and studies undertaken to prepare for installation. A key element is that sensors to be added need to be non-invasive and non-obtrusive and where possible compatible with the existing communications infrastructure.
