The purpose of this work is to provide a Framework to achieve COMPOSITION Technical Objective 3.1: Implement, demonstrate and validate the COMPOSITION operating system in two multi-sided pilots. As proof-of-concept, the COMPOSITION IIMS will be implemented, demonstrated and validated in two multi-sided pilots that show the modularity, scalability and re-configurability of the platform across multiple application domains. The first pilot in the biomedical device domain focuses on the integrated information management system in a multi-sided manufacturing process within one company. The second pilot concentrates on the interaction between different companies using the COMPOSITION ecosystem with the agent-based marketplace for collaboration, optimising logistics and other inter-factory processes.
