Sterilisation Process - Health Sector (CROMA)

Sterilisation Process - Health Sector (CROMA)
Summary

The Single-Use Disposables (SUDs) which are used in the health sector become infectious disposable wastes after their use, and medical devices that need to be sterilised before refurbishment and reprocessing.

The Use Case will exploit the availability of historical tracking data of the whole sterilization process to train auto- twins of the system from the beginning of the project.

Decision-making models will then be created to process the input data, making suggestions on: Life estimation of the medical device using AI tools.

  • Deciding the next phase of the medical device cycle (reuse, refurbish, remanufacture, recycle).

  • Scheduling of work on equipment throughout the process.

  • Scheduling of instrument maintenance according to the life cycle.
