Summary
MODUL4R joined three other projects to form a cluster of EU funded projects, all sharing a common research focus on “Excellence in distributed control and modular manufacturing”. These projects have received funding from the Horizon Europe Programme and their primary objective is to explore the modularity of production systems that will enable flexibility and allow production to vary according to emerging needs and circumstances by introducing, changing, and removing different process steps. The synergistic collaboration among these research projects will expand their impact beyond individual schemes and contribute significantly to the dissemination and communication of cutting-edge scientific developments.
