In a constantly changing world, identifying the technologies of the future and anticipating the impact of an emerging technology is essential to remain competitive.
Conducted for more than 20 years by Cetim - with the support of the FIM - Priority Technologies in Mechanics (PTM) is above all an exercise of technological prospective. Conducted every five years, and regularly updated, its objective is to enlighten mechanical engineering companies and their ecosystem (customers, academics, institutions, etc.) on important technologies in the medium term and to feed the reference frame of the Industry of the Future. 51 technologies have been identified with a horizon of 2025.
