Summary
-Ability to simulate, in a virtual environment, different cases of robot cooperation.
-Initial mandatory milestone to further extend Process Simulate product to support full Off Line programming of other cooperative robot configurations (process relative motion, load sharing, etc..) from other robot vendors (ABB, KUKA, etc.).
-X-act applied this exploitable result in the Pre- assembly line of Automotive industry, for the assembly of the vehicle dashboard and in the Rework of electrical appliances industry, for the Disassembly of a Sewing machine.
-The main benefit is the ability to offline simulate the dual arm trajectories (including collision) before running them on the real robot system.
