Summary
Robotic base platform adapted for shop-floor environments. It supports a novel dynamic navigation strategy for intra-logistics operations. It is a fully ROS compliant Intralogistic Mobile Assistant Unit (IMAU) with a built-in storage area capable of load/unload material boxes and equipped with multimodal sensors to operate in the shop floor. This robot assists the human operators by timely supplying material parts to assembly line stations. As an outcome, this IMAU solution improves the cycle time of intra-factory logistic routines and, thus, reduces the downtime of assembly operations. The result also include a plannig moduke that is capable of: - Generation of task alternatives with respect to the demand on consumables - Efficient task allocation based on the needs for parts and consumables - Multi criteria methods for task planning evaluation - Generation of schedules for logistics
