Demand and weather forecasting module

Motivation / Need: Demand forecast and generation of a cleaner and greener factory through selecting the greenest energy depended production plan with the use of weather forecasting. Application Area: Applicable to production planning Solution Concept: This module will give input to MetaCAM tool so the proposed production line will be fine-tuned to use more green energy. The module will use weather forecast combined with demand forecast to produce a daily production plan along with predicted CO2 emissions per consumed kWh. There is potential for a start-up creation, as partners have expressed their interest in commercializing the Demand and weather forecasting module, as well as using it both internally and to provide external consultancy services.
