Summary
This document describes the specification for an energy monitoring infrastructure to be developed under WP7. Appropriate sensors suitable for production are identified and selected in collaboration with WP7. Criteria for selection include monitoring resolution, sampling rate, sensitivity, cost and ease of integration based on the integration specifications of WP7 and industrial partners. The proposed sensing technology is based on the sources of energy data identified in Deliverable 1.2 and monitoring strategies which are evaluated and selected in close cooperation with the industry partners. The energy monitoring infrastructure remains commercially viable as well as technically feasible. A costing model for each use case is provided.
