Summary
The Cost and Energy models, integrated into process simulation codes or into the control and cognitive system, will allow a detailed quantification, over the whole process chain, of the economic and energetic efficiency of the process itself.
The customers of this model are typically Aluminium alloys HPDC companies; in the future, proper new versions of the models can be introduced in other Aluminium based foundries (low pressure, gravity casting) as well as to other ferrous and non-ferrous foundries.
