Fundamental and industrial oriented knowledge about electrodeposition process for automotive sector

Summary
Aluminium plating process does not exist on an industrial scale so this technology could be a real alternative to other aluminium finishing methods which could be less competitive in terms of price or sustainability. Aluminium finishing is highly desired by the automotive industry, a robust process for aluminium plating would lead to a large niche market but to achieve this goal more fundamental and applied research is needed.
