Northern Ireland Technology Centre

The NITC houses state-of-the-art advanced manufacturing technology demonstration facilities with a particular focus on digital manufacturing, advanced machining, robotic welding and parallel kinematic machines. It has strong linkages to the advanced manufacturing catapult centres across the UK and acts as a conduit between local industry and the UK advanced manufacturing innovation ecosystem.

iAMS - Centre for Intelligent Autonomous Manufacturing Systems

We are an interdisciplinary team of researchers spanning the disciplines of Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and Psychology working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Technology Centre to develop innovative technologies and solutions to address the challenges of Industry 4.0.

Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre

AMIC is a forthcoming EUR100M investment in new infrastructure aimed at securing Northern Ireland’s manufacturing future and will be a springboard for manufacturing innovation in Northern Ireland. A state-of-the-art Factory of the Future is planned as the flagship facility of the project, with an ambition to be Northern Ireland’s national centre for Advanced Manufacturing.

Long established processing expertise in rotational moulding, polymer extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding and thermoforming, Focussing on circular economy, waste reduction and compistes recyling as well as medical polymers.
