General description

Lurederra Foundation for Technical and Social Development is a non-profit, private Technological Centre. Lurederra performs activities of Research & Technological Development on behalf of the industries and SMEs, followed by implementation of the innovations developed at their production sites. In addition, Lurederra has a large trajectory in international cooperation. The Centre has coordinated 19 of the total 35 participated European projects from FP6 to Horizon 2020 including LIFE and ECO-Innovation programs. The main R&TD fields where Lurederra develops its activities are nanotechnology, new materials and advanced-environment technologies.

LUREDERRA have a great expertise in production of nanomaterials of a large diversity of natures. We have available different synthesis technologies, but our main potential is based on our Flame Spray Pyrolysis technology and facilities which are unique in the world in terms of production capacity in only one step of a large range of nanomaterials. We have production capacities which go from lab-scale (10 grams/hour) to industrial scale (up to 5 kg/h). Based on this technology we are able to design and produce very different and complex nanomaterials based on metal oxides, simple, mixed compositions, phosphates, carbonates and doped materials including noble metals for multi-sectorial applications such as lasers, sensors, imaging, phosphor, displays, solar cells, photocatalysis, photoelectrochemistry, biomedicine, catalysts, cosmetics, pigments/paints among others.

Furthermore, LUREDERRA is part of ADItech (Advanced Innovation and Technology Corporation/ www.aditechcorp.com) which is a private entity that coordinates the Navarra Innovation System with 6 technological centres, 3 research centres and 2 universities. Aligned with RIS3 in Navarra, they are focused on 4 strategic lines in the fields of: Automotion and Mechatronics, Food Chain, Renewable Energies and Resources and Health, with a clear international objective. LUREDERRA is part of the Automotion and Mechatronics area of ADItech.
