Evaluation of open source monitoring tools in the cloud and IoT with focus on authentication and security incidents

The aim and purpose of this bachelor thesis is to give an overview over popular open source monitoring systems suitable for the Cloud and IoT environment. Further, this thesis should give first approaches for running preselected monitoring tools in an OpenStack environment. Additionally, this thesis amplifies on authentication and security incidents and how the administrator could be informed about such an incident. To achieve such a scenario, this thesis uses a Raspberry Pi 3 to emulate a CPPS environment.
