Summary
The AR training platform integrates AR technologies and wearable, as well as portable features aiming at the on-the-job training of the shop-floor’s personnel. The toolkit is developed taking into account the end user’s requirements. The inclusion of both state of the art marker-based and markerless object recognition and registration provides advanced mechanisms to automatically verify correct step performance in certain training scenarios, in particular in assembly and disassembly procedures. The demo presents the marker-based object recognition and registration plugin, applied to an assembly training scenario relevant to CPERI operation procedures.
