Part verification software to assess the effects of defects

The software build upon the CATIA softwrae environment. It collects information about defects during the manufacturing process, such as those requried from "LScan" and "FScan" sensors  (see other results) in a manufacturing database. This enables the assessment that the defect have on the mechanical strength of the part and will thus lead to more accurate decisions on the need for re-work of the single defects. A quick processing method allows an assessment within a few second, and a more accurate methods based on finite elements provides more detailed data within a few minutes.
