Generic Perception platform providing Application - ready solutions for flexible robotics guiding

Summary

This solution will focus on proving software solutions for environment and process perception for robotics applications. In particular two main software modules will be included in this platform: a) Object detection and poste estimation based on CAD model matching for grasping and manipulation of complex parts and b) Detection of regions of interest based on AprilTag detection for navigation and localization. This software platform will be fully exploited when used in conjunction with the newly commercialized rc_visard stereo camera, however, it will be also applicable as a standalone production in application using different vision hardware.
