Summary
This result will be the THOMAS Open Production Station customized for the aeronautics industrial use case employing a job shop production paradigm. In particular, a Mobile Robot Platform (MRP) able to be re-allocated and perform different operations in multiple workstations (drilling, paint sanding and rivets inspection) will be deployed. Such platform will be equipment perception based adaptive skills for ensuring the autonomous navigation and process execution based on the real time shopfloor status. Human Robot Interaction will be also part of the software package for managing the effective workspace and workpiece sharing among humans and the MRP.
