Unified Model for Virtual Training

For the VISTRA project it was necessary to create a model which allows a representation of knowledge according to the different stakeholders of the VISTRA platform. These stakeholders (trainee, trainer, manufacturing engineer) have different needs of knowledge which have to be considered by the model, e.g. a trainee needs interactive training instructions, a trainer needs to see the results of his training group and a manufacturing engineer wants to check feedback information. Based on concepts, which are used in the automotive industry, the core of the VISTRA model for virtual training and assembly has been build. In addition to the pure description of assembly tasks, it covers other entities from different enterprise resources to consider the application of VISTRA.
