Integrated optical sensor for surface quality control

Integrated optical sensor for surface quality control consists of an embedded device including camera, optics, and an on-board configurable illuminator to inspect, by means Artificial Vision (AV) algorithms combined with Artificial Intelligence (AI) ones, different types of surface defects on machined parts: the tool has been designed to be quite versatile to be able to detect scratches, cracks, spots (like burns), excess/lack of material, geometrical features, etc.
