This deliverable will be a report presenting the formal models for describing the mechatronic objects and their capabilities. The formal comprehensive digital resource description for MOs includes all the relevant features of MOs like size, interfaces, geometry and kinematics, and business and design properties, in addition to representing the resource specific capabilities. The resource description utilizes semantic capability model, which is developed to represent the functionalities of the resources. In the resource description these capabilities are assigned to the resources and filled with the resource specific parameter values. The capability model describes two types of capabilities, simple and combined capabilities. The deliverable specifies a formal method to form the combined capabilities from the simple ones with the capability model. It will allow finding resource combinations contributing to certain combined capabilities on a concept name level. The deliverable will describe the structure and content of the capability model and the resource description, and how these are used together.
