Summary
Product-Service: Traditional products as well as services requires different competencies, methods and tools to design, implement and control all processes efficiently during the lifecycle of products and/or services. It is important to have them all closely integrated to avoid stand-alone solutions which do not address both perspectives (products and services) equally. For FTI this means, that existing product design and implementation methods and toolchains have to be enriched by new aspects reflecting the service arena.
