Summary
The innovation is an “intelligent chuck” for clamping of impellers and blisks in milling processes, which allows for the identification of critical workpiece vibrations during machining and for a counter excitation with the aim to reduce workpiece vibration amplitudes and to avoid chatter. For this, sensors and actuators will be integrated.
