The GloNet Workflow System

This asset provides a systematic approach to coordinate the flow, the interaction pat-terns of business processes. The main focus of the Workflow System is the definition of processes that are highly interacting with the GloNet Platform. The GloNet Platform thereby profits from the Workflow system in using defined and modelled processes in order to save time on day-to-day business operations and to reduce common mis-takes in forgetting process-steps or doing things more complicated than needed. The GloNet Workflow System comprises (i) the Workflow Modelling Tool and (ii) the Work-flow Execution Platform Additions. The Workflow Modelling Tool supports users when defining processes interacting with GloNet Platform by offering easy operations for of-ten used functionalities, e.g. creating or saving Data Objects. The Workflow Execution part integrates the Workflows in the GloNet Platform to follow the modelled processes as integrated as possible and therefore reducing learning effort for new users.
