Summary
This asset supports specification of services that enhance a complex product and its sub-products. Every complex product needs to be supported by a large number of business services, while each business service is typically materialized by some soft-ware services and/or manual services. Therefore, all business services required for a complex product must be well translated and matched into the specification of their constituting set of manual and software services in GloNet. The product specification tool's functionality supports specifying, reusing and integrating previously registered manual and software services, to fulfil customer requirements in enhance the com-plex product and its sub-products.
Expected value: The service specification tool is a powerful asset for the effective specification of services enhancing the complex product and its sub-products. The tool enables users to specify services and integrate previously registered services in order to build composed services. For specification of software services in SST, a novel ap-proach is applied, storing different aspects of these services, including their syntax, semantics, and behavior.
