Augmented Reality (AR) for supporting operators in press-brake operation

Augmented Reality (AR) for supporting operators in press-brake operation
Summary

The framework’s support for adaptive instructions facilitates the implementation of (i) a digital skill assessment (ii) operator’s profile classification algorithm, through the identification of each operator’s vulnerabilities (iii) and the configuration of a mixed-reality bending instruction guide, with adapted level of detail to operator’s capabilities has been devloped by LMS. The global objective that was approached in this system is the accurate identification of the workforce vulnerabilities and then contribution into improving and maintaining the operator’s performance in a high level.
