Summary
A fully automated production line was developed in order to proof the zero defects approach. Strip material entered a press, a forming tool made parts of it. During this process, several sensors measured the quality directly and indirectly of the proceess. When the part was ready, a 100% 3D optical measurement was performed of a volume of 25x25x6mm. A second sensor measured 1% on higher detail. This whole process ran at 100 parts per minute!
