Summary
The additive manufacturing process uses laser to locally heat up a powder bed. This process is repeated for many layers creating a 3D complex part. Porosity, residual tresses and surface quality are the challenges. Within MEGaFiT a 3 layer cascade control system is developed to improve the product quality
