Summary
The system is based on a dynamic calibrator that allow an automatic measurement of the dynamic behavior of the machine tool and come along with easy-to-handle measurement and calculation software. With this data a stability diagram is built to choose the optimal chatter free conditions. The predicted stability diagram is in good agreement with the results of cutting tests.
