15t Press micro-manufacturing pilot line

	15t Press micro-manufacturing pilot line
Summary
The line is composed by three main parts. The system before the press guides the fed metal strip through a list of sensors. The aim is to measure a list of parameters that could affect the subsequent stamping steps. In particular the strip if first of all demagnetized, then it is measured the temperature (and room temperature), the thickness (with an error of microns) and the mechanical properties, thanks to an innovative algorythm that links induced eddy currents to certain mechanical propoerties. The press has been revised, to monitor the speed and the angula speed. The stamping tool had been re-designed, in order to find space to put sensors inside it. Thanks to these sensors (temperature, strain, force...) the stamping process is monitored, at the scale of every single punch. The third part is about quality check: two OCT systems measure the 3D features of the produced parts (angles, planarity, parallelism of surfaces) to see if they are in line with max tolerances. The main advancement is that the HiPr OCT is able to follow the production speed and measure 100% of components, up to 250 strokes/min.
