Decision Making Module (DMM)
The DMM is an interactive computer-based system intended to help decision-makers to use data and models to identify and solve problems through a decision making process. It consists of two main components: the optimization module and the data analysis module. The optimization module is based on the SOMO platform developed by ESTECO. SOMO is an enterprise collaborative and distributed execution framework aimed at managing the complexity of running multidisciplinary design projects. The data analysis module is based on the Pentaho Suite, which is an infrastructure that integrates a number of business intelligence tools.
The user has the following opportunities to use the DMM:
• Setting up the simulation and optimization (DoE, KPIs, algorithms)
• Data analysis and optimization through graphical tools (data visualization, post processing)
• Data analysis and reporting through Business Intelligence analytics (ETL, OLAP)
• EPES SM ICT Module
