Flexible OLED demonstrator made using a roll-to-roll produced moisture barrier as substrate

This demonstrator shows the feasibility of making state-of-the-art flexible OLED devices on a plastic substrate containing a roll-to-roll produced ultrahigh moisture barrier layer stack. The barrier film was produced roll-to-roll and temporarily bonded to a glass carrier for sheet-to-sheet deposition of the electrode and OLED layers, using a pilot chain of tools and equipment at various project partner locations.
