Summary
Methods for recycling laminates and fibres (Re-Fib and RE-Lam) will be trademarked. These can produce material using up to 80% less energy and will be available at about a fifth of the cost of virgin fibre. Strength is around 75% of virgin fibres, so these may need to be mixed with virgin material or used in less structurally-demanding parts. Recycled CF to be used in an automotive part A marketable product will be produced from thermoset and hydrocarbons, This will be available for half the price of virgin material A commercial system to separate carbon fibres will be trademarked and licensed / sold to recyclers and component manufacturers
