Summary
SCM Foundries are constituted by a central office in Rimini and by two production factories, one in Rimini and another one in Villa Verucchio.
The plant involved in the pilot will be the Rimini Factory. The plant in Rimini is characterized by a process of green sand moulding on two automatic lines; melting is performed with a hot blast long campaign cupola furnace with a production capacity of 12 ton / hour; it is particularly suitable for the production of medium series castings, with a weight from 1 kg to 500 kg.
