Development of a temperature monitoring system capable of collecting information from sensors placed in any kind of press and providing a certain level of autonomy and lifetime duration through energy harvesting and wireless synchronization techniques. It will be used to prevent the occurrence of breakdowns by detecting problems from the very start and making repairs and replacements before actual breakdowns occur or cause other more expensive problems. IMAIN will make machines more reliable and predictable by monitoring their performance.
The results may be widespread and applied to any other measurement parameter in order to obtain a global monitoring system to help management of facilities by creating optimal, safe and cost-effective systems that comply with corporate and regulatory standards.
