General desciption of Platform enabled optimisation:
Digital platforms will be successful if they provide a clear value proposition to the user groups involved. In general, digital platforms offer added-value basd upon three main mechanisms:
- Reduction of transaction costs
- Network effects
- Use of data integration for new services (mainly optimisation) and business models
Based upon these mechanisms, added-value can be created in a variety of perspectives (see 'Added Value and Impact').
Comment:
The optimization of quality process decision is taking place thank to a holistic view of the factors that influence the perception of the quality from the consumer prespective. The platform using a MPFQ driven data model is enabling a faster, more reliable and flexible visualization system and analytical approach.
