Summary
The FScan sensor is used to measure fiber orientation during dry material placement. It can cover material widths of up to 3m and detects deviations in fiber orientation, distortions of the fabric, missin sewing yarns, wrinkles and foreign objects. Defect data are mapped to a 3D model of the part ot allow efficient re-work.
