Summary
The HQGS toolkit is composed of next components:
• Sensorised tool holder for force measurement in grinding processes with highly sensitive bending moment signals (Pro-Micron):
• Integrated scattered light for surface metrology (Optosurf)
• Process Fingerprint (Danobat)
• Structural actuator for a grinding machine (Ideko)
This new toolkit, optimized for the integration in grinding machines, increases the manufacturing performance in terms of process and quality control, enhancing the first-time-right production of high-quality parts, meeting the Zero-Defect Manufacturing paradigm that is essential in very high added value components.
