Secure Manufacturing IoT (Aerospace Manufacturing UC)

The presented use case aims at integrating Industrial IoT for flexible management and optimization of cyber physical systems across Tablada, San Pablo Sur & CBC factories. An industrial IoT deployment into these AIRBUS D&S factories will be carried out; after that, factory assets such as rivet shaving machine (Roboshave), industrial oven (Autoclave) and advanced smart tools control system (Gap Gun) will be integrated over this IIoT Network.

To address this use case, it will integrate the industrial IOT with the IIoT network by dividing the problem into three use cases dependent on the factory and the asset used:

1. Robotic system (Roboshave). Integration with IIoT platform in Tablada Site.
2. Industrial Oven (Autoclave). Integration with IIoT platform in CBC Site.
3. Advanced smart tools control system (Gap Gun). Integration with IIoT platform in San Pablo Sur Site.
    

As main targets of use cases, it shall enable to retrieve, save and show historical data to analyse and process these data and to improve the aircraft manufacturing processes. Moreover, this data collection will improve the cyber security of the production chain with the deployment of cyber security technologies (OT SOC, IAM features, etc.). Also, it shall enable instant deployment of IoT agents and future updates and shall get improving of flexibility and control of manufacturing assets with user-friendly interfaces.
